Honda Grrr is an advert campaign launched by Honda back in 2004. And since it was on television eleven years ago and I am writing a blog post about it now, it obviously had a lasting impact on me. The visual aesthetic is beautiful and it almost looks like it was created by an animated movie company like Pixar. It seems like a rarity in adverts where there is a lot of attention to detail, particularly in the background design. But what the advert campaign Grrr did so well is it took the viewer to a magical world full of wonder. So even though I know it's an advert for a car company, this advert had the same effect on me as watching the game Journey or Flower due to it's incredible visual aesthetic and attention to detail.
